The Caps kick off their four game road trip tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks are on a bit of a hot streak having won their last three games by a combined score of 9-3. This is way more than what I can say about the Capitals. They’ll have to try and shut the Canucks’ streak down without the aide of Matt Niskanen, Andre Burakovsky and possibly sweet Nick Backstrom. Woof.
Game’s at 10PM on NBCSN. Start your pot of coffee and take a nap before you dive in with us for some #RMNBAfterDark. Good tweet Pete will have your recap.

Storylines
- Have a seat, we need to talk about Evgeny Kuznetsov and his really bad faceoffs.
- Christian Djoos is very happy that the Capitals chose him and I am very happy that he is happy.
- Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night is comin’ up soon! Slap on your best purple and send money to some good spots.
- Listen, I want to watch hockey as soon as possible too, but we are playing the Canucks tonight. Not last night.
- Bah gawd is that Kevin Bieksa‘s music???
- Andre Burakovsky had successful surgery on his fractured left thumb.
- There is a brand new facility with two ice rinks opening up in Leesburg. Nice to see that there will now be something good in Leesburg other than the painful memories of me running cross country races at the Oatlands Plantation.
- Bryce Harper and George McPhee are two men that have made me cry. They also posed for a picture at a recent Golden Knights game.
- Jay Beagle and Philipp Grubauer are just two dudes enjoying a sweet sunset.
When Work Becomes Play
Police dogs don’t get enough credit for all the hard work they do. Putting their life on the line every single day for the citizens of this world.
This pup was working the sidelines at a stadium in Bolivia and he got kinda tired of watching everyone kick the ball around without him. He took matters into his own paws and decided to get in on the action, leaning into his true canine instincts.
Is he gonna lose his job? Yeah, probably. Was it worth it? Absolutely.
