The Capitals took to the ice Thursday afternoon after the team’s 3-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins the night before. After giving up three goals while on the penalty kill, the Capitals spent over half their practice time going through special-teams drills.

Practice was especially special today because RMNB readers and Patreon supporters Lindsey and Donya are visiting from Ireland and Wales respectively. This is Lindsey’s second time at Kettler, but the home opener was her first ever Caps game. Donya is visiting DC, Kettler, and attended a Caps games for the first time.
