As the Washington Nationals embarked on their final road trip of the regular season, they showed off their team spirit, I mean Natitude, in the greatest way.
Some Major League Baseball teams will schedule a team dress-up day ahead of one of their road trips. So far this season, the Chicago Cubs dressed up as Anchorman characters while the Diamondbacks had a beach day theme.
The Nationals went medieval and dressed up as characters from “Game of Thrones.” Every player appears to have really gotten into their costumes, but the best duo goes to Jayson Werth and Bryce Harper, dressed as Jon Snow and his direwolf Ghost.

Harper, dressed in face paint and a giant wool wolf suit in 90 degree weather, thanked his sister Brittany for the costume and wife Kayla for the makeup. The grizzled Werth didn’t even need to change anything about his hair or beard, but wore a perfect fur coat to mimic Jon Snow.
Reliever Sammy Solis posted a photo of the entire team outside Citi Field in New York City.

In the photo, its also evident that the rookies all dressed as the Unsullied, members of an army that are kidnapped as boys and trained to take all commands. The Unsullied remains undefeated, which works perfectly with how the Nationals rookies stepped up to help this season as the team struggled with injuries.
He also shared a photo with Alejandro De Aza, Stephen Drew, and Enny Romero dressed as Faith Militants, a religious cult that takes over King’s Landing, home of the iron throne.

On Harper’s Instagram story, he posed with the Hound, an enforcer for the King’s guard.
After several MLB organizations were criticized for dressing rookies up in female-based costumes, the CBA was adjusted to include stands against bullying and hazing. The official statement prohibits the “requiring, coercing or encouraging” of other players to engage in activities that include “dressing up as women or wearing costumes that may be offensive to individuals based on their race, sex, nationality, age, sexual orientation, gender identify or other characteristic.” Instead of only having rookies dress up, some clubs have turned it into team building activity where everyone is involved.
