Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth collapsed on the ice in Philadelphia tonight.
Seven minutes into the game between Philadelphia and New Jersey, Neuvirth fell backwards in the crease and went limp. No one was near him as it happened.

Emergency medical personnel were immediately called to the ice with stretchers.
As he was carted off, Neuvirth appeared conscious and alert.

Backup goalie Anthony Stolarz has taken over in the game. We don’t have any news of Neuvirth’s condition yet, but we will update this post when we do.
