Not even 24 hours later after their shootout loss to the Red Wings, the Washington Capitals are back on the road to New York City. The Capitals will play the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden this afternoon and the two teams are looking pretty similar.
The Capitals will continue having a tough time getting back into the rhythm of the game after their bye week but they will also be tired from playing yesterday. The Rangers will also be concentrated on coming back into the swing of the game after a loss to the New York Islanders and a quick two day break.
Puck drop is at 12:30 PM on NBC.
