After cuddling on a couch for photos Saturday night, the Capitals’ Russian 5 are now taking their talents to TikTok.
The talented hockey players were adorably led by Esenia Kuznetsov, who posted the video to her TikTok page and was later re-posted by Ilya Samsonov. There is so much happening here.

Brian MacLellan is not only the Capitals’ Senior Vice President, General Manager, and Alternate Governor. The 61-year-old is also now what I’d consider a TikTok artist.
MacLellan participated in the Flames’ “Pass the Cup Challenge”
Capitals defenseman Brenden Dillon was a guest on ESPN On Ice with Wyshynski and Kaplan on Tuesday.
Dillon talked about how he’s coping with his quarantine life (Disney tunes) and the “lucky” trade deadline deal that brought him to Washington. The longtime Shark also spoke about the TikTok video he created with his girlfriend Emma Wittchow last month. Dillon and Wittchow took the Dip and Lean Challenge.
“When you spend two to three weeks in a hotel there’s only so many puzzles or Netflix you can watch and do,” Dillon joked.
Brenden Dillon just became the second Capitals player to jump on TikTok to make a dance video a week after Brendan Leipsic flipped the switch.
The Capitals defenseman completed the Dip and Lean Challenge with his girlfriend Emma Wittchow.
The dude’s got moves.

Capitals forward Brendan Leipsic is the latest famous figure to do the ‘flip the switch’ TikTok challenge and it’s wonderful.
Leipsic, eating a box of Ritz crackers upside down, rocks a red zip hoodie and a grey beanie while his girlfriend, Amalia Williamson, rocks a white spaghetti strap shirt and shorts.
The lights go out and the two switch costumes.
Capitals forward Ilya Kovalchuk appears to have returned home to California during the coronavirus pandemic to spend time with his family. Kovalchuk, who’s been married to wife Nikol for 12 years, is a father of four children: daughters Karolina (born in 2006) and Eva (2015) and sons Philipp (2009) and Artem (2010).
The Kovalchuks have gotten creative to pass the time.
