Sidney Crosby tried to get sneaky against the New York Rangers on Monday. Crosby attempted a Michigan on Igor Shesterkin, but the Rangers goaltender was wise to the challenge.
If Crosby would have scored, it would have been one of the greatest goals of his career. The fact that Crosby, more of a conservative player, even tried it in the NHL is a major news story.

With a four-goal lead in the second period, Evgeny Kuznetsov got creative. Left alone behind the net, Kuznetsov noticed goaltender Ondrej Pavelec was not guarding the top corner of the twine. Kuznetsov picked the puck up with the blade of his stick and tried to score a lacrosse goal.
He ultimately failed, but that’s not going to stop him from trying again.

After scoring on a layup in the first period, Evgeny Kuznetsov amped up the difficulty on a second period shot attempt.
Noticing Ondrej Pavelec was not guarding the top corner of the net, Kuznetsov picked the pick up with the blade of his stick and tried to score a lacrosse goal.
Back in early July, Washington Capitals first round pick Jakub Vrana displayed his sick hands during Development Camp. The 18-year-old Czech had the most talked about play of the week, scoring during a scrimmage with a wild shootout move. In an interview with RMNB after camp concluded, Vrana said that the move was spur of the moment, something he thought of as he skated in towards the goalie.
On Thursday, Vrana, playing with the Czech Republic as part of the National Junior Team Summer Development Camp, tried again to get super creative against Canada. After taking a pass behind the net, Vrana attempted to scoop the puck up with his stick blade and score like a lacrosse player.
