It looks like Evgeny Kuznetsov has started an end-of-season trend.
Just days after Kuzy attempted to score a “Michigan” lacrosse goal, former Capital Filip Forsberg tried his hand at it against the Sharks.
Only the post stopped Forsberg from burying his attempt.
Here’s the move from another angle.
Several players have attempted to pull off a Michigan goal and succeeded, but never in the NHL. Now, within three days, two NHL players have come very, very close to pulling it off.
The gauntlet has been thrown down. We might just see a successful attempt before the season ends. There’s still five games remaining, after all.
