The Washington Capitals, including several players and their rapidly growing puppy, are rallying around TJ Oshie to get the Stanley Cup champion into the 2020 All-Star Game. This year’s event is being held in Oshie’s old stomping grounds in St. Louis and he would easily be one of the most cheered players at the game. Oshie is the Capitals’ candidate for the Last Man In vote.
On Wednesday, Vrana logged onto his Twitter machine and tried to lobby Caps fans to “Vote my liney.”
Oshie piped in and gave Vrana a surprise invitation.
Vote my liney @TJOshie77 for the ALL STAR game … would love to see him on the shootout competion 😉 https://t.co/oq9rp4A9s9

Vrana got a little flirty at the end of his tweet. “Would love see him on the shootout competition.” He included a winking emoji.
Oshie responded back saying, “We’re a package deal” and asked Vrana to go with him to St. Louis if he was voted in.
We’re a package deal. I go you go? https://t.co/nHjDnKPXtb

That would be pretty amazing. And Vrana is so tiny, he would probably fit in Oshie’s pocket.
Alas, Vrana would not commit to going (his abs probably need some playtime) but promised he’d be “crushing popcorn watching your silky mitts on tv.” He added a flirty “❤️ always.”
❤️ always , this one is on you brother i will be crushing popcorn watching your silky mitts on tv

Oshie and Vrana have traded compliments as well as hugs and cuddles on the bench as their bromance has blossomed this season. Their success together on the ice is a big reason why. Vrana (19 goals) and Oshie (18g) sit second and third respectively behind Alex Ovechkin in goals.
But there were others on the Capitals who made the case for why you should vote for the Osh Babe.
Tom Wilson
Come on Caps fans, let’s get @TJOshie77 into the All-Star game!! Vote here https://t.co/nEMI7vbd1T #rightside #hesgoodateverything pic.twitter.com/t5hirN6W9G
— Tom Wilson (@tom_wilso) January 6, 2020
Wilson, likely inspired by Oshie’s recent multitasking between football and dad’ing, pointed out that “#hesgoodateverything.”
John Carlson
Let’s get @tjoshie77 to St. Louis with me and Holts. Three’s a crowd https://t.co/wArHE8oUbw pic.twitter.com/yI8QuiFLK8

Using fancy graphics, the Capitals defenseman wanted Oshie in the game because “Three’s a crowd.” Well, John, if you saw those previous tweets between Oshie and Vrana, it could be four!

The Capitals puppy tried to rally his vast Twitter following. I mean a dog that can type on a phone? What can’t he do?

Take a chance on Oshie!https://t.co/IElb3nGZec pic.twitter.com/P9eXlHkDwT

The Capitals made this ridiculous video featuring Abba singing “Take A Chance On Me.” I’m all about it.
I have included the full song below so we can all rock out together.
So in conclusion, Caps fans should vote for Oshie because he might pack Vrana in his suit case and his vast skills make him a champion at everything.
[Shrugs] That’s good enough logic for me. [Goes to NHL.com to vote for Oshie 10 times.]https://t.co/eMXWoXoCWE pic.twitter.com/GDW76YWQEj
