After spending some time training together with his close pal Vitek Vanecek, Jakub Vrana is starting this mid-July week on vacation in Spain.
The unsigned Capitals forward is in Marbella, a resort city in Spain right on the Mediterranean Sea.
Vrana brought some good friends along for the ride, including six from his core.
There’s the pool. I see a lot of plants. There are those beautiful rolling hills in the background. And oh.
Yeah, that is a lot of abs. ¡Many mucho!
One of Vrana’s cohorts on the trip, SHL hockey player Anton Karlsson, posted to his Instagram Story of the friends working out around the pool.
Vrana is also joined on the trip by SHL defenseman Mattias Bäckman who played several games on loan with the Hershey Bears during the 2016-17 season, Division 3 player Philip Venturi, and Swedish NCAA player Adam Zöllner.
This marks at least the second consecutive year that Vrana has vacationed in Marbella during the summer.
