Capitals puppy Captain visits Nationals Park ahead of first World Series game in DC in 86 years

The Washington Nationals won eight-straight playoff games after Alex Ovechkin threw out the first pitch in the NLCS. Now they just got more gr8 support from a really, really good doggo.

The Washington Capitals’ puppy, Captain, visited Nats Park and snapped a couple of adorable pics ahead of the first World Series game in Washington DC in 86 years.

He let the Nationals know he’s “in the best shape of my life !!!”

Yes, yes you are Captain.

Captain, just like his Capitals’ teammates, has caught the Nats bug. He even recently got a new nameplate with the Nationals’ curly W on it.

Uh oh, but now he’s very sweepy. That was a big trip to the yard.

The Nationals will attempt to win Game Three in front of their home fans and take a 3-0 lead in the World Series tonight.

And if these kids are any indication, it’s going to be an absolute madhouse.
