Before Friday’s tilt against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin shared his secret to fully arousing his Russian consciousness with Evgeny Kuznetsov. Ovechkin held smelling salts in front of Kuznetsov’s face. But much like Marcus Johansson last season, Kuznetsov could not handle it.
