The Hershey Bears restocked their depth by inking three players to one-year AHL contracts on Tuesday.
The club announced that they signed forwards Cam Morrison and Landon McCallum as well as defenseman Noah Beck to deals for the 2026-27 season.
All three players have prior experience in the ECHL and AHL, with Morrison and Beck products of college hockey and McCallum a product of the OHL.
Morrison, 27, was drafted out of the USHL in the second round by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2016 NHL Draft. He then spent four years at Notre Dame playing before making his pro debut with the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs in 2021. After four seasons in North America, he played the 2025-26 season in Norway for the Stavanger Oilers, recording 30 points (18g, 12a) in 40 games. In 123 career AHL games with the IceHogs and Charlotte Checkers, Morrison has notched 41 points (18g, 23a).
McCallum, 22, made his AHL debut this past year, getting into three games for the Coachella Valley Firebirds. After four seasons with the OHL’s Sudbury Wolves, his primary pro experience has come in the ECHL, where he’s played 120 games for the Kansas City Mavericks, recording 82 points (28g, 54a).
Beck, 25, was selected in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues. He then played five years in the NCAA with Clarkson University and Arizona State University. He has 14 games of AHL experience with the San Jose Barracuda, recording 2 assists. Beck played most of last year in the ECHL with the Wichita Thunder, putting up 41 points (9g, 32a) in 44 games.
The Bears lost a slew of players in free agency this summer, including key names like Henrik Rybinski, Brett Leason, Wyatt Bongiovanni, and Corey Schueneman. They will add additional depth in the form of Capitals first-round picks Terik Parascak and Lynden Lakovic as they graduate from the CHL.
