The Washington Capitals will play at least one more home game in their first-round series against the Montreal Canadiens after a 6-3 loss at the Bell Centre on Friday night.
Due to the loss, the NHL announced the start time and broadcast information for Game 5 between the two clubs at Capital One Arena on Wednesday night. Puck drop is set for 7:00 pm, and Monumental Sports Network wiill broadcast the game locally. ESPN will carry the game nationally in the US, while the game will be aired on SNE, SNO, SNP, CBC, and TVA Sports in Canada.
After the first round is concluded, broadcasts of playoff action from that point forward will all be carried exclusively by the league’s national TV partners.
