The Washington Capitals and St. Louis Blues are set for the first of two games against each other this season on Saturday night. The two clubs split their season set last year with the Caps dropping the road half at Enterprise Center.
St. Louis enters the game in the middle of a five-game homestand. They dropped their last outing 4-2 against Utah HC on Thursday. Jordan Kyrou leads the team in scoring with 12 points (5g, 7a) in 14 games.
Jakub Vrana will play his first game against the Blues after spending parts of the last two seasons with the club. Mike Sgarbossa and Jakob Chychrun will also be back in Washington’s lineup.
