The Washington Capitals are back home at Capital One Arena after falling to the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-0 at Amalie Arena on Saturday.
The loss not only ended the Capitals’ winning streak at five games, but, sadly, their airing-on-local-TV streak at one.
Tuesday night, the Capitals’ face off against the New York Rangers will air on ESPN at 7:30 pm. The game marks their first time since meeting in the 2024 playoffs. And yes, Matt Rempe will be back in the Rangers lineup.
Per the ESPN Press Room, here’s who’ll have the call:
Play-by-Play: Bob Wischusen
Analyst: Ray Ferraro
Reporter: Emily Kaplan
Rules Analyst: Dave Jackson
In Studio: Steve Levy, Mark Messier, P.K. Subban, Arda Öcal
ESPN is airing the Capitals-Rangers matchup as the first part of a doubleheader, followed by the LA Kings vs. San Jose Sharks game at 10:00 pm. Fans can also tune in to Tuesday night’s game on the radio via 106.7 The Fan (FM) and Caps Radio 24/7.
Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin will return to the broadcast booth when the Caps play the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.
