Tom Wilson brutally beats up Anders Lee in fight

Anders Lee’s dust-up with John Carlson was apparently just his warmup bout.

Late in the first period, Tom Wilson challenged Lee to drop his gloves after the Islanders nailed Nicklas Backstrom with a dirty hit to start the game.

Lee obliged and he probably shouldn’t have.

This hurts my face just watching it.

The first period of Game One between the Capitals and Islanders featured a ridiculous 26 penalty minutes.

I love it.
