Fighting Tom Wilson is never a good idea and Blake Coleman learned this lesson the hard way.
Early in the third period, Coleman fought Andre Burakovsky, after knocking Dmitry Orlov awkwardly into the boards. Coleman must have felt cocky after pushing the Swedish cinnamon roll around so nearly ten minutes later, he engaged heavyweight enforcer Tom Wilson. He instantly regretted it.
Wilson enveloped what used to be Coleman’s handsome face in punches. As the Devils forward skated to the penalty box, his face, resembling lumpy mashed potatoes, swelled and began turning multiple shades of red and purple.
During one sequence of the fight, Wilson landed eight-straight violent haymakers.
As Wilson got up from the fight, the Capitals enforcer grinned like it was Christmas Day. This man loves punching faces.
Coleman, meanwhile, did not look nearly as happy.
Wilson would join his former roommate, Andre Burakovsky, in the box as the top-six winger served 17 minutes of penalties.
All we're missing is @Latta17 and we'd have a Caps Roomies reunion in the penalty box #brobeans pic.twitter.com/JK8Ydm82Op
