There’s a Tim Hortons truck serving free coffee and donuts in NHL bubbles

From their lodging to their activities, NHL players a d coaches arrived to a life of luxury on Sunday. But the most popular activation at the bubble is something more simple: Tim Hortons.

Monday, Toronto Maple Leafs assistant coach Andrew Brewer discovered a Tim Hortons food truck outside the Fairmont Royal York.

“Best Part about the NHL bubble has got to be the @TimHortons Truck,” Brewer wrote.

The food truck included coffee, donuts, muffins, cookies, and tea.

The Leafs, as a team, had also brought in tons of Tim Hortons coffee as a precaution.

Later in the day, Nashville Predators head coach John Hynes revealed all of coffee and food is free.

“That’s another nice little touch that they have,” Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis said. “There was a Tim Hortons truck on Day One in the courtyard. Following all the rules and regulations that they set in place. It’s little things like that: the food quality, accessibility, and like you said, the Tim Hortons too – that Canadians appreciate a little more. It’s been thought out. You can see that.”

Andrew Ladd was so excited about the food truck that he posted a video of his teammates in line.

For NHL players, fancy things are nice, but it’s the simple things in life that give them happiness.
