I’ve said this before, but the Washington Capitals are a simple bunch. It doesn’t take much to entertain them. They may be surrounded by luxury amenities, but it’s the little things that bring these goofs together.
For instance, on Monday — their first full day in the bubble — the team found a bench. They sat on it.
Suddenly, it became picture time. And the resulting media is some of the most wonderfully dumb content of the bubble so far.

First, there’s Kuzy and Orly laughing. The next photo is Tom stupidly putting his arm around Brenden Dillon.
There’s a GIF too.

There’s more. So much more.
Tom Wilson got a hold of one of the Capitals’ photos and posted it to his Instagram. It featured a cameo by Michal Kempny. “Hair tips with Hags #bubble,” Wilson wrote. Ovi liked the photo. Hagelin responded.
“Showing the ropes,” Hagelin said.
Brenden Dillon also posted two of the photos to his Twitter, showing admiration to Hagelin’s flow.

So in conclusion, thank you, wooden bench, for bringing the best out of my favorite team.
