Alex Ovechkin scored his 700th career goal at work today and after he commuted home, he celebrated with his family.
It appears when Ovechkin walked up to the house, a box of hockey gear had arrived in the mail from Ovechkin’s equipment sponsor, CCM.
Inside there was gear for Ovechkin’s one-year-old son Sergei which includes his first gloves, skates, shin pads, and helmet.

Ovechkin could not contain his excitement as he put his gloves on his son.
Nastya showed off all of Ovi Jr’s new gear including his tiny skates. The laces had flourishes of yellow in the pattern, perhaps a nod to his dad’s all yellow threads.
CCM congratulated Ovi with an impressive illustration on Instagram.

After exploring all the new baby gear, the family had dinner. It appears they had pizza from Papa John’s – another one of Ovi’s sponsors.
