Sidney Crosby tried to steal TJ Oshie’s stick from the bench

Sidney Crosby’s fiery temper flared during the second period of the Capitals-Penguins game.

As Penguins forward Anthony Angello hit TJ Oshie in the neutral zone, Oshie’s stick accidentally nailed Crosby sitting on the bench.

Oshie threw a few shoves and punches back at Angello and as he did, Crosby tried to rip Oshie’s stick out of his hands.

You can’t do that.

According to Justin Bourne, Crosby complained to the ref that Oshie tried to spear him, but the officials weren’t buying.

Crosby got a two minute minor for interference.

Later in the third period, Sidney went after former teammate Carl Hagelin on his way to the bench.

Update: Crosby spoke about the incident after the game.
