Martin Haš scored his first career goal in the U-20 World Junior Championship, Saturday.
The towering defenseman tallied three points in the Czech Republic’s 4-3 upset loss to Germany on Saturday.
The Capitals selected Haš in the fifth round (153rd overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft.

Haš’ powerplay goal got the Czechs, the host team in the tournament, on the board after falling behind 2-0 early against the Germans. After taking a pass from Matej Pekar in the corner, Haš blasted a shot through traffic that beat German netminder Hendrick Hane.
