Harpers Ferry Brewing is releasing ‘Sell the Team’ beer

Harpers Ferry Brewing is a gorgeous brewery that sits on the Potomac River in Purcellville, Virginia. On Wednesday, the company announced that they will be releasing a new beer called “Sell the Team”.

The beer is an ode to the Brewery’s favorite football team and its owner Dan Snyder. The announcement came after the Washington Redskins’ record fell to 1-8 this season – the worst in the NFL.

Harper Ferry Brewing describes the new beer as a “double west coast IPA finished at 9.5 percent to get you through another dreadful Sunday. Bitter and slightly disappointing like a day at FedEx Field!”

While you might crave one of these potent brews, Harpers Ferry Brewing doesn’t yet have distribution in the DC area, according to the Washingtonian, but you can try the beer on-site or bring in/buy a growler.

If you are going to make the trek to the brewery, here is your reminder that it is finished at 9.5 percent. The perfect amount for you to forget about that dreadful record, but also the perfect amount where you’re gonna need a driver.
