Nationals second baseman Brian Dozier continued a tradition during the championship parade and rally that started back when the team clinched their wildcard spot for the World Series: he took off his shirt.
Dozier started his day fully clothed atop the buses that took the Nationals all the way to the championship rally. He was spotted with Telemundo 44 sports anchor Moises Linares singing a duet of Calma together.
The best moment you may have missed from the parade is the @Nationals' Brian Dozier and @Telemundo44 sports anchor @MlinaresDC singing a reggaeton jam. 🎤🎶 Do these guys need to make an album together? #NatsParade pic.twitter.com/22XFEbc4q0

The shirt was still on when Dozier was asked how he felt on a scale of “one to a million.”

But by the time the cameras were back on Dozier again, as he spoke to Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo, the shirt had long disappeared.

Dozier put a shirt back for the rally, however, it came right back off in true dramatic fashion as the team filed out on stage.

The shirt remained off for the rest of the rally, and Dozier ended it in style: swinging his jersey around as he danced to Calma, one of two anthems for the World Series winning Nationals.
About as perfect of a way to end a championship rally imo #briandozier #calma @pedrocapo @recordsANDradio pic.twitter.com/XKH3NAKAtm

“My wife’s going to kill me,” Dozier said into the mic on stage.
We’re sure that she will forgive him for bringing so much unabashed and pure joy to the thousands of Nationals fans that turned out to celebrate the World Series win.
