The Caps have at last arrived at the end of their seemingly never ending road trip. It feels like the boys could be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship they’ve been up there for so long. The final game of said trip came against the youthful Toronto Maple Leafs.
Andreas Johnsson got those Leafs on the board only forty seconds into the first period. John Carlson continued his October tear and tied the game at one and then gave the Caps a lead. Auston Matthews and his gross mustache tipped one home late in the second and slotted one home early in the third. Alex Ovechkin’s tenth of the year restored the tie.
Ovechkin overtime winner.
Caps beat Maple Leafs 4-3!
I watch the New York Rangers this season and I honestly can't decide if they're just naturally this bad or if they're actively trying to be bad on purpose pic.twitter.com/1Q8qvWVkX8

Tan suit with a light blue dress shirt. Classy, but that tie makes me want to drink some Minute Maid. #JoeBSuitOfTheNight #CapsLeafs pic.twitter.com/En7Ydvlv5j

The Caps have a home game up next! Friday night the boys will see the surprisingly dominant Buffalo Sabres at Capital One Arena. I will be in attendance…so the Caps better win.
