After epic dugout dance, Adam Eaton and Howie Kendrick wear matching ‘clutch’ shirts during World Series batting practice

The Washington Nationals are a Fun Team and Friday, two of the team’s unheralded stars debuted some new threads.

Outfielder Adam Eaton and NLCS MVP Howie Kendrick wore matching clutch shirts for batting practice ahead of Game three of the World Series.

The evening marks the first World Series game in DC in 86 years.

The shirts, of course, are inspired by Adam Eaton’s home run dance in the Nationals’ dugout during Game Two of the World Series. Once Eaton was done shimmying and shaking with his teammates, he went to the bench and did a tandem synchronized dance with Kendrick, where he simulates putting a car into gear.

This is so full of win.

Brian Dozier was also spotted wearing a throwback Washington Senators shirt during BP.
