The Washington Capitals are all-in with their support of the Washington Nationals.
Sunday, after the Capitals defeated the Blackhawks 5-3, they blasted Montell Jordan’s This Is How We Do It in the locker room. The music can be heard in the background as the Capitals videoed their postgame fist bumps.
“THIS IS HOWIE DO IT,” the Capitals tweeted.

Alex Ovechkin can be heard yelling fucken right, boys.
The caption is an obvious nod to Howie Kendrick, who was the Nationals’ MVP in the NLCS.

A few minutes later, Garnet Hathaway and his busted nose awarded Braden Holtby the Capitals Hard Hat after making 41 saves. The hard hat is a Nationals’ batting helmet.

Friday, the Nationals were at Capital One Arena for the Caps’ game against the Rangers. Adam Eaton announced the starting lineup before the game and Max Scherzer dropped the ceremonial first baseball. Caps fans did the Baby Shark chomp to salute the team.
The Nats did it too.
