The penultimate Capitals preseason game featured another matchup with the St. Louis Blues and this time a loss for the good guys, their first of the preseason in five tries.
Your Caps goal scorers were Travis Boyd, Carl Hagelin, and Chandler Stephenson.

Additional notes
- The Caps first power play of the night saw them work from Ovi’s office in more of a playmaking capacity rather than just a hall of fame goal scoring turret capacity. I wonder if the Caps want to use their second unit this year in that way more this season, it would be a wrinkle that opposing penalty kills have to adjust for.
- Liam O’Brien lost a fight to Jordan Nolan in the second period and did not return.
- This game felt like it was played at an almost agonizingly lackadaisical pace. In my opinion, there are two, too many preseason games.
- The Blues goal song is terribly generic.
- I really like how good Nick Jensen has been in the preseason. Same goes for Jonas Siegenthaler.
- The WWE is bringing back pyro guys.
