Your Caps goal scorers were Kody Clark and Brian Pinho.

Additional notes
- Alexander Alexeyev was injured via a hit from Preds player Josh Healey at the end of the second period. Healey was given a five minute major and thrown out of the game. Alexeyev did not return for the third period, but do not fret too much as bench boss Spencer Cabrberry said it was just precautionary as he had to go through concussion protocol and “everything was good”.
- In other injury news, Riley Sutter had to leave the first game with an upper body injury and we now have an update that it isn’t as serious as first feared. Carberry called it “just a sprain” and that “there is no fracture or anything like that”.
- Brian Pinho now has three goals in two games.
- Most recent Caps first round draft pick, Connor McMichael dinged the post on a regulation penalty shot attempt late in the third period.
- The Caps number one star on Saturday, defenseman Martin Fehervary did not dress.
