Braden Holtby returned to DC last week to start gearing up early for the upcoming hockey season, and that includes getting some new art on his goalie mask.
On Wednesday, the Capitals posted photos from the Capitals’ informal practice, which contained a sneak peek at Braden’s new bucket.

The new design features the head of the Capitals Weagle logo in blue, with three stars outlined in red along the sides.

Previously, Holtby’s mask for the 2018-19 season featured the Capitol dome and the word “Capitals” along the sides. The new mask design appears to be made by the same artist, Swedish airbrush artist Dave Gunnarsson.
