Alex Ovechkin and Nastya Ovechkina kept their son Sergei out of the media spotlight for the first year of his life. They have recently started sharing photos of Sergei having previously only shared photos and videos that did not show their baby’s face. Now, the one-year-old is a cover model.
The family posed for the cover of Russia’s “Hello!” magazine’s issue on children. The Ovechkins are pictured in a garden with little Sergei sitting in his mother’s lap. The photo was taken at Sergei’s incredible first birthday party. Nastya reposted the cover image of the issue on the day of its release.
In addition to the cover photo which the magazine and Nastya shared on Instagram, the magazine’s website included another shot, of the be-suited baby in his parents’ arms.
The teaser paragraph on the Hello! website (translated by Google) says the writer attended the fun-filled birthday bash and spoke with Nastya and Alex about how having a child has affected their lives.
“I do not get tired of thanking my wife for our hero,” Alex is quoted as saying. “Every day they give me an incredible holiday.”
The photogenic family has landed on the cover of “Hello!” before. Once, for their ornate wedding, and again when Sergei was just a baby bump.
