While Alex Ovechkin and his wife, Nastya Ovechkina, were back in Russia for a summer visit, they posed for the cover of Hello! magazine once again. In July 2017, Hello! Russia had an exclusive photoshoot of Ovi and Nastya’s decadent summer wedding.
Dressed in matching brown-beige sweaters, with the word “family” emblazoned across Ovi’s chest, the Capitals captain splayed his hand protectively over Nastya’s bump, as they both looked at the camera. Following the Capitals’ Stanley Cup win, it was announced that the two were expecting their first child.
“When we learned that we would become parents, our emotions were off the scale. Now we’re in a seventh heaven of happiness,” the Ovechkins said to Hello! in the accompanying article.
Nastya also shared a couple of videos behind the scenes during the shoot on her Instagram. They swapped out their brown-beige sweaters for a wind machine and something a little more glamorous.
Ovi and Nastya returned to the US on Sunday, and are currently vacationing in Miami.
