A few days after Paige and Nic Dowd announced that they were expecting their first child in January 2020, the couple took to their Instagram Story to share a few photographs of the gender reveal.
In the photographs, Nic — sporting a “don’t stop retrieving” shirt, representing the couple’s fur baby, Arlo — and Paige cut into a white cake, with blue and pink macarons and soft, matching color brush strokes along the edge of the cake. Removing the slice revealed a candy surprise inside.
