Out of nowhere, Brooks Orpik scores Game Two overtime game-winner

Hahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahaahaha.

So, your overtime hero in Game Two is none other than two-time Stanley Cup champion, 38-year-old Brooks Orpik.

What a trip. Alright, let’s get into it.

No wait, one second. Hahahahaha. Orpik!

Guy scored two goals this season, got bought out last summer, is getting played a full 25 percent less than he used to, and he beats the Hurricanes in overtime with a gorgeous shot. Hahaha.

Okay, for real now.

Wait, no. One more thing: Orpik also scored the game-winner in Game Three of last year’s finals. What an unbelievable gamer.

Okay, no here’s what actually happened. Evgeny Kuznetsov is behind the Canes net, as Orpik comes on the ice. Orpik comes storming towards the faceoff dot with all the speed he could muster. The pass was perfect, but the shot — just his 44th of the season — was even better.

Orpik, who is still a two-time Stanley Cup champion as of press time, was immediately assaulted with hugs.

HOME RUN BROOKS ORPIK. ROUND THE BASES, YOUNG MAN.

Hahahahaha.
