In the same game where Caps’ prospect Alex Alexeyev scored his first goal of the World Junior Championships, one Swiss player is taking notes on another Caps player’s goal celebrations.
Swiss forward Yannick Bruschweiler, who is draft eligible in 2019, toe-dragged the puck around Danil Zhuravylov then rifled a shot past Danil Tarasov.
Bruschweiler immediately flapped his arms, copying Evgeny Kuznetsov’s bird walk celebration.
Aebischer to Nussbaumer to Yannick Bruschweiler, who scores 35 seconds after Russia took the 5-3 lead to make it 5-4. Nice celebration, too. #WJC2019 pic.twitter.com/0ZaTpy6pPt

First of all, R.I.P Zhuravylov’s ankles on that move. But let’s admire that bird walk one more time in all its glory.
