Tuesday night’s preseason game against the Boston Bruins was lackluster, as the Caps dropped their second preseason game against the B’s 5-2.
But defenseman John Carlson’s son, Lucca Carlson, was ready for game time, and he started with a good pregame meal that he shared with Andre Burakovsky.

Dre also shared some dessert with Lucca. Lucca’s birthday is in June, despite the lettering and candle to signal otherwise.
Once the game started, Nastya Ovechkina spotted Lucca in the Caps box from down in the 100’s.
It turns out Lucca got a second dessert, because a few fans spotted Andre and John outside the box while they were grabbing ice cream.
