During the final week of June 2018, Capitals prospects arrived from around the globe to participate in the team’s annual Development Camp at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. Doing everything from drills, team-bonding, training, and scrimmaging, the week is a great way for the prospects to start to learn what it takes to make it in the NHL.
On Saturday, the 31 prospects, which include Shane Gersich and future goaltender Ilya Samsonov, took on each other in a friendly scrimmage. Check out our photos below.
