Ahead of the Championship parade at 11 AM, the Capitals made their way to Capital One Arena to take a team photograph with the Stanley Cup.
Once they finished up with their official business, several Caps started pregaming before heading out to start the real festivities.
Devante Smith-Pelly kicked things off with a video of captain Alex Ovechkin dancing around in the locker room, beer in hand.

Of course, Smith-Pelly wasn’t far behind. He put on the WWE title belt, as provided by Triple H, and double-fisted his own beer.

Nastya Ovechkin also caught Ovechkin with a beer in her Instagram stories.

Why do we get the feeling that the Capitals’ first 48-hours of celebrating was just a prelude for what’s to come?
