Braden Holtby’s mother Tami teared up at the conclusion of Game Four

The Washington Capitals crushed the Vegas Golden Knights 6-2 in Game Four of the Stanley Cup Final. The win brought the Capitals to a 3-1 series league over the Knights, leaving the Capitals only one win away from the Stanley Cup. Basically, Game Four was extremely emotional for all of us, but especially for Braden Holtby‘s mother, Tami Holtby, who was seen in Capital One Arena shedding some tears as her son made 28 saves and became one win away from the Cup.

Same, Tami. Same.

Sportsnet recently aired a feature focused on the parents of several of the players. Braden Holtby and Greg Holtby spoke more about Tami’s passion and emotion during games.

“I’m not too stressed, my wife Tami on the other hand is very stressed,” Greg said. “She’s very animated, but it’s always fun.”

“She’s definitely a goalie mom,” Braden added. “She gets a little worked up in games.”
