Devante Smith-Pelly morphed into Devante Shimmy-Celly late in the third period.
It could not have come at a better time.

After a dogged pursuit of the puck, Jay Beagle forced a turnover and found a crashing Smith-Pelly in the slot.
DSP ripped a shot past Marc Andre-Fleury’s glove.
And then it was time to celebrate. Smith-Pelly shook his shoulders and jiggled his chest towards the crowd like he was a salsa dancer.
Incredible. Another epic celly.
The goal made up for DSP’s failed clear/equipment malfunction during Game One, which led to a goal.
P.S.
Jay Beagle for Conn Smythe
