Caps defenseman Michal Kempny had a scare prior to Game Three. During warmups, Kempny stepped on a puck and crashed into the boards headfirst.
Kempny left the ice, putting the Caps’ lineup into doubt.
Here’s the fall.
Kempny retreated to the dressing room for repairs. He returned prior to the game with bandages on his notes, apparently to cover cuts from his visor shield when he hit the board.
But he’s in the game, and looking pretty means very little towards the outcome tonight.
