This very good doggo picked the Capitals to win the Stanley Cup Final

In April, ahead of the first round of the 2017-18 playoffs, Buster picked the Washington Capitals to go all the way and win the Stanley Cup.

Keeping up with the tradition of very good dogs predicting the outcome of the playoffs, the NHL released a video on Sunday of puppies deciding which team would be triumphant: The Capitals or the Vegas Golden Knights.

Goldilocks, a Toy Fox Terrier mix, and Adidas, an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, were highlighted as contenders for “Most Valuable Pup.”

The rules of the game were very simple: the first bowl empty of kibble was declared the winner.

The puppies rushed out, with most of them throwing their lot in with the Knights. Goldilocks, a very good, very smart puppy, went straight for the Capitals bowl.

One puppy didn’t quite understand the rules. But that’s okay. We’ll forgive them.

Goldilocks, as suspected, really was the “Most Valuable Pup.” She licked the Capitals bowl clean, crowning them the eventual winners of the Stanley Cup.

Two dogs predicting the Capitals to win the Stanley Cup are some great odds, and we’ll take them.
