Capitals play-by-play radio announcer has given us some super memorable lines throughout the years, from his iconic “Good Morning, Good Afternoon, and Good Night,” to shouting “THE KING IS DEAD” after Joel Wards OTGWG in Game 7 against Boston in 2010.
Monday night Walton gave us another line for the ages after Evgeny Kuznetsov’s series winning goal against arch-rival Pittsburgh: “THE DEMONS HAVE BEEN EXORCISED”.
It’s so great that we made a new shirt commemorating it in both red and black.
You can buy the shirt in our Spreadshirt store, and is also available as a hoodie or a mug.
I also had the design made into an embroidered patch, which you can pre-order in my etsy store.
Final artwork is COMPLETE! An Exorcised Penguin, inspired by @WaltonCaps‘ call of Kuzy’s OTGWG. Pre-order the embroidered patch here: https://t.co/NaDmQoFNoB (RTs always appreciated as well!!!!) pic.twitter.com/LDJ7pZoTUO
