Bryce Harper puts Vegas Golden Knights logo on knob of his bat

Thursday night, the Washington Capitals will compete in a pivotal Game Four against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena. With a win, the Caps will tie their first-round series at two games a piece and try to take the series lead at Capital One Arena on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, a huge hockey fan himself, has made it known via a tribute on his bat that he’s rooting hard for his favorite hockey team…

The Vegas Golden Knights!

ESPN’s Arash Markazi revealed Harper’s new bat accessory Thursday afternoon in a tweet. Over the past year, Harper, a Las Vegas, Nevada native, has become the Vegas Golden Knights’ biggest fan.

And he’s let it be known during the postseason as Vegas swept their first-round series against the Los Angeles Kings.

Harper has remained supportive of the Capitals via Tweets and Instagrams.

In December, Harper participated in the ceremonial faceoff before the Capitals’ and Golden Knights’ first ever game against each other. Bryce wore an Alex Tuch jersey.

Harper, who has posed in a photo with former Capitals GM George McPhee, also owns a Nate Schmidt jersey.
