After just three months with the Flames, NHL legend and possible superhuman Jaromir Jagr seems to be on his way out of Calgary.
Rumors have swirled for a few days about the status of the 45-year-old Czech. Saturday night, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed that Jagr was moving towards a mutual exit from Calgary.
From Headlines: CAL/Jagr working on an exit. Jagr deserves to be treated w/respect and agent has permission to talk to other clubs. Nothing materialized yet, but time in CAL is drawing to an end. There is believed to be European interest.

While no specifics have been confirmed and nothing official has been announced by either side, it certainly looks like Jagr and Calgary will part ways.
Over 24 NHL seasons, Jagr has tallied 1921 points, the most by an active player and second in NHL history, behind only Wayne Gretzky. However, his illustrious career might be over.
On October 2, 2017, Jagr signed a one-year deal with the Flames. However, the deal has not been perfect for either side, with Jagr only scoring one goal and six assists in 22 games. Questions have abounded regarding his chemistry with his teammates and his role on the team.
Lots of speculation on the future of Jaromir Jagr with CGY. Hobbled by injury, unable to get a defined role, rumours abound but, for now anyway, my understanding is no declarations are imminent. There has been and will continue to be dialogue between Jagr and CGY.

If this is it for Jagr in North America, well, we salute you. Except for those two-and-a-half years in Washington.
