Friday afternoon, the San Jose Sharks made a temperature joke at the Vegas Golden Knights’ Twitter account.
The Bay area is having a heat wave and it was hotter in San Jose (104°F) than it was Las Vegas (102°F). That sounds tame, but they would immediately regret it.
It's not even October yet and we're already up on @GoldenKnights. #bayareaheatwave pic.twitter.com/e2AlkDLMV1

The Golden Knights responded back and it was like they brought a cannon to a knife fight.
Because everybody knows how good @SanJoseSharks are at holding leads🙄 https://t.co/O2YGCvhx0R

Considering the Sharks’ dreadful postseason history, this tweet is not only savage, it’s personal too!
This comes two days after Vegas trolled Sidney Crosby with a power ranking and a day after they called out NBC for basically subtweeting them.
The Golden Knights haven’t won a NHL game yet, but they’re winning everyday off the ice.
