After spending nearly two months focusing on his hobbies — playing with a dog, kickboxing, and getting made fun of by his teammates — Caps forward Andre Burakovsky has returned back to North America.
The reason is unknown, but some players fly back early, usually at the beginning of August, to begin training for the next season.
Burakovsky first notified his followers on Instagram about his flight from Copenhagen to DC over the weekend.
Monday, he posted a photo walking towards the main entrance of Kettler Capitals Iceplex.
