NHL Network’s Aaron Ward reports that forward Justin Williams has signed a two-year deal with the Carolina Hurricanes.
We do not know his salary yet. He will make $9 million over the contract, per Isabelle Khurshudyan.
Williams played 162 games for the Caps, recording 46 goals and 54 assists. He had great hair too.

Justin Williams getting $5 million from Carolina next season, then $4 million the following season. Good for him.

Williams won his first Cup with the Canes. He will be 36 before next season begins, but he’s still a good player. That’s a big payday though.

Congrats, Justin.
Also congrats to Tom Wilson for becoming the team’s only “Willy” again.
