Justin Williams signs 2-year deal with the Carolina Hurricanes

NHL Network’s Aaron Ward reports that forward Justin Williams has signed a two-year deal with the Carolina Hurricanes.

We do not know his salary yet. He will make $9 million over the contract, per Isabelle Khurshudyan‏.

Williams played 162 games for the Caps, recording 46 goals and 54 assists. He had great hair too.

Williams won his first Cup with the Canes. He will be 36 before next season begins, but he’s still a good player. That’s a big payday though.

Congrats, Justin.

Also congrats to Tom Wilson for becoming the team’s only “Willy” again.
