Over the weekend, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Dmitry Orlov arrived in Germany to participate in the 2017 World Championship.
On Sunday, the two Capitals participated in Russia’s team photo for the tournament.
Oh, what’s that? You can see their faces? Of course I’ll zoom.
Kuznetsov smiles as he stands in-between Vadim Shipachyov and Sergei Plotnikov.
Meanwhile, Orlov is the borscht of a Russian sandwich that features (what appears to be) Nikita Gusev and goaltender Andrei Vasilevski.
Kuznetsov and Orlov played in their first WC game Monday, a 5-0 win over Latvia, but neither figured in the scoring. So enjoy these photos from the Russia Hockey Federation of the two during their weekend practices.
